Heron Island photos soon

In May we spent a week on Heron Island. It was our second visit, the first was back in 2007. We had good weather and of course spent quite a lot of time in the water. The island is a snorkeller's paradise as well as being a hugely relaxing break from the stress at work.

I'm in the middle of processing the photos at the moment and should be ready to upload them to my gallery in a couple of weeks. I had a few challenges with my new waterproof camera (thanks to an appalling underwater white balance), but still managed to get a few decent shots. They should be worth a look once I'm finished. I also got a couple of nice shots on the helicopter on the way to the island (example above) and I'm pretty happy with those.
